Shipping and Care

Your butterflies are hand fed and exercised just before shipping to ensure their quality. They are then placed into individual envelopes with their wings in a natural resting position. This prevents them from damaging their wings in transit. They will then rest comfortably in a state of hibernation until they are exposed to light and warmth. They require very little oxygen so will not suffocate in the envelopes.

The envelopes are then placed into an esky with a small cold pack to keep the butterflies cool while they travel. Your butterflies will arrive the day of your event.

If you are purchasing release boxes, hire cage or lanterns the butterflies will be delivered in these containers.

Easy to read instructions on the care of your butterflies will be sent with your receipt.
