Keep a few butterflies in their envelopes and place them in the esky for 10 minutes before photographs are taken. |

Cooling them does not harm them it only slows down their metabolic rate for a short period of time.
|

|
When everyone is in position to be photographed, take the butterflies out of their envelopes and position them quickly. You have up to one minute before the butterflies fly away. |
